Provoked: A True Story

Semalam aku tengok this one movie diberi nama 'Provoked' kt Astro & heroinnye Si Aishwarya Rai . aku rase movie ni dah lama kot (hehe) coz aku ni jenis yg brape nk amik port what movie yg out every-day-month in cinema.Maybe several years back? tah? Nway, pada sesape yg dah pernah tengok movie ni sure taw jalan citernye camne and for those yg tak taw meh mak story serba-sedikit yer.Its actually based on a true story about this lady yg meringkuk dalam penjara sebab satu malam dia 'meletop!' membakar suaminya ketike tido sebab dia dah tak tahan kena dera + "rogol" +dianiaya for almost 10 years oleh suaminye-yang-hanjeng-itu.Itu serba ringkasnyelah, if nak taw yg versi panjang skit tu aku dah paste kat bawah synopsisnye.

*Provoked is the true story of Kiranjit Ahluwalia, a Punjabi woman who moved to London after her marriage with Deepak Ahluwalia. Her husband seemed caring at first but then began to beat her up. He started drinking a lot and sleeping around with other women. he also subjected her to spousal rape. After ten years and having two children with him, out of fear, she sets him on fire while he is sleeping, two hours after another scene of domestic violence. He succumbs to the injuries ans she is sentenced to prison for life for premeditated murder. However the Southall Black Sisters, an NGO which fights against domestic violence helps her get justice. And after spending 3 1/2 years in jail, she is set free and reunited with her two children.*

Bagi aku citer ni ala-ala 'Enough' lakonan si Jenifer Lopez tu & aku sokonglah kalau mane-mane pompuan kat donia ni yg kesnye ala-ala gini dibuli & dilunyaikan oleh sang jantan-harusnye jantanz itu dibakar idup-idup cam si Kiranjit ni buat. Memang pantang betol aku pompuan kena blasah.Bagi aku lah orang yang suke sangat ber'boxing' dengan kaum hawa ni adalah seorang yang "Sakit-Jiwe-tak-sedar-diri-nak-mampos" agaknye. Reason why? kerna kalau depa ni waras depa takdelah nak duk hempuk muke si isteri / kekaseh / etc lah kan?
So, moral of the story, 1) Ladies! pi masok kelas Teakwando ka, silamban ka, Silat ka OK. 2) Kalau dia tunjuk 'terrr' jugak, apalaga, siap-siap je botol minyak tanah bawah katil-dia tido je bakar je. Finish. abis crite. Simple as that. Pahe dok mu~ :)
